ISO 21001:2025 replaces ISO 21001:2018 and introduces updated requirements aimed at improving educational effectiveness, learner satisfaction, governance, digital learning, accessibility, inclusion, risk management, and continual improvement of educational services.

Organizations certified to ISO 21001:2018 are required to transition to ISO 21001:2025 within the defined transition period to maintain certification validity.

In accordance with the published accreditation transition timeline, the transition period ends on 31 December 2027. After this date, certifications issued to ISO 21001:2018 will no longer be valid.

Transition Audit Process

The ISO 21001:2025 transition audit may be conducted:

• During a scheduled surveillance audit; or

• During a recertification audit; or

• As a separate transition audit, where necessary.

The transition audit focuses on the differences between ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 21001:2025 and includes verification of:

• Implementation of new and revised ISO 21001:2025 requirements.

Certification Outcome

Upon successful completion of the transition audit and certification decision process, TNV Group Ltd. will issue a certificate to ISO 21001:2025, confirming conformity with the revised standard and applicable accreditation requirements.

The certification cycle shall continue in accordance with TNV certification procedures and applicable accreditation requirements.

Important Note on Transition

Organizations that do not complete the transition to ISO 21001:2025 before 31 December 2027 may have their ISO 21001:2018 certification rendered invalid after the transition deadline.

ISO 55001:2024 Transition Certification

TNV Group Ltd. provides ISO 55001:2024 Transition Certification services to organizations currently holding a valid ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management System (AMS) certification.

ISO 55001:2024 replaces ISO 55001:2014 and introduces updated requirements to strengthen asset management practices throughout the asset lifecycle. The revised standard places greater emphasis on organizational context, leadership, strategic asset management planning, risk-based decision-making, sustainability, digital transformation, performance evaluation, and continual improvement.

Organizations certified to ISO 55001:2014 are required to transition to ISO 55001:2024 within the defined transition period in order to maintain certification validity.

In accordance with the UAF Transition Policy, the transition period ends on 31 July 2027. After this date, certifications issued to ISO 55001:2014 will no longer be valid.

Transition Audit Process

The ISO 55001:2024 transition audit may be conducted:

• During a scheduled surveillance audit; or

• During a recertification audit; or

• As a separate transition audit, where necessary.

The transition audit shall focus on the differences between ISO 55001:2014 and ISO 55001:2024 and includes verification of:

ISO 37001:2025 Transition Certification

TNV Group Ltd. provides ISO 37001:2025 Transition Certification services to organizations currently holding a valid ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification.

ISO 37001:2025 replaces ISO 37001:2016 and introduces updated requirements relating to enhanced compliance culture, strengthened governance and oversight responsibilities, clarification of the anti-bribery function, improved conflict of interest controls, enhanced due diligence processes, and alignment with the Harmonized Structure (HS) for ISO management system standards.

Organizations certified to ISO 37001:2016 are required to transition to ISO 37001:2025 within the defined transition period in order to maintain certification validity.

In accordance with IAF MD 30:2025 – Transition Requirements for ISO 37001:2025, the transition period ends on 28 February 2027. After this date, certifications issued to ISO 37001:2016 will no longer be valid.

TNV Group Ltd. provides ISO/IEC 27701:2025 Transition Certification services to organizations currently holding a valid ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) certification.

ISO/IEC 27701:2025 replaces ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and introduces updated requirements to strengthen privacy governance, enhance the protection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), improve privacy risk management, clarify the responsibilities of PII Controllers and PII Processors, and align with the latest editions of ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002. The revised standard also supports organizations in demonstrating compliance with evolving privacy and data protection requirements.

Organizations certified to ISO/IEC 27701:2019 are required to transition to ISO/IEC 27701:2025 within the defined transition period in order to maintain certification validity.

In accordance with the UAF Transition Policy, the transition period ends on 30 September 2028. After this date, certifications issued to ISO/IEC 27701:2019 will no longer be valid.

ISO 14001:2026 replaces ISO 14001:2015 and introduces updated requirements to strengthen environmental management practices, improve environmental performance, enhance climate-related considerations, reinforce lifecycle thinking, support sustainable business practices, and further align with the Harmonized Structure (HS) for ISO management system standards.

Organizations certified to ISO 14001:2015 are required to transition to ISO 14001:2026 within the defined transition period in order to maintain certification validity.

In accordance with the published accreditation transition timeline, the transition period ends on 30 April 2029. After this date, certifications issued to ISO 14001:2015 will no longer be valid.
