Suspension Procedure of ISO Certification:

Suspension, Withdrawal, Extension and reduction of Certification:

Suspension:

The grounds for suspending the certificate are as follows:

a) If the certified organization is not getting the Surveillance audit conducted as per the certification agreement.

b) If the client is found to misuse the logo of the Certification Body or is using any kind of misleading statement which might affect the reputation of the certification body and the accreditation board.

c) If there is any complaint from the customer customer TNV needs to verify the complaint and in case if the certified organization is found guilty the certificate will be suspended and will remain suspended until the complaint is not resolved.

d) In case of Non payment of the fee as per the Contractual agreement.

e) If during the Surveillance audit system found not to comply with Standard requirement.

Upon the Suspension the certificate will be surrendered from the client, the TNV web site will be updated that the organization certificate is suspended (not valid). After withdrawal of the certificate if the organization is found using the certificate or certification information in any manner, legal action will be taken against the Organization as per the contractual agreement.Â

Note:Â The evidences can be verified onsite or offsite depending upon the nature of the reason for the suspension.

Withdrawal:

Any certificate issued by TNV may be withdrawn in the event of any of following defaults by a certificate holder:

1. If a surveillance audit is not arranged within 3 months of the due date in response to notice issued by TNV CERTIFICATION PVT. LTD.

2. Major lack of effective implementation of corrective of actions within agreed time limits in respect of non-conformities identified during surveillance audits.

3. Failure to pay appropriate fees.

4. Continued misuse of Accreditation mark/logo e.g. misleading publications, advertisement or contravention of the stipulated conditions for the use of marks/logo. Upon suspension or cancellation of certificate of registration, the name of the organization shall be deleted from the TNV CERTIFICATION PVT. LTD.'s approved list of certified companies.

5. In case the Organization is not able to resolve the issue of Suspension within 90 days from the date of Suspension.

6. The evidences submitted by the organization for the reason of suspension as defined above are not found satisfactory.

Extension:

Upon the request of the client at any point of certification cycle, the scope of certification can be extended after the verifications conducted as per the TNV certification process.

Reduction:

Upon the request of the client or during the surveillance audit as identified/verified by the audit team, the scope of certification can be reduced after the verifications conducted as per the TNV certification process.

TNV encourage to adopt and implement latest available standards ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015, hence no application shall be accepted after 01st Jan. 2017 for ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001-2004 standard, earlier this date was 01st Sept. 2017. Existing client may continue using their certification status till the validity of the standards i.e. 15th Sept. 2018

TNV shall start accepting the transition request by January 2019, TNV Plan Single visit approach in normal case, but in case of special request from the Client; staged process may be adopted. Transition may be carried out either by special audit for the transition or with the surveillance audit. Man-days for the transition may be following: a. In case of Special audit, 1/3rd of the initial audit man-days subject to minimum 1 man-days. b. In case of transition audit planned with Surveillance audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. c. In case of transition audit planned with Recertification audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. ii) Certificate issued under ISO 22000:2005 shall not be affected and shall remain valid till the validity of certificate issued under old version of the standard i.e. (19th Jun. 2021). iii) TNV shall issue certificate for ISO 22000-2005 with the expiry date on or before 19th Jun. 2021 and this date can be extended to 29th June 2021. if client fails to complete the transition by three years after the publication of ISO 22000:2018, certificate shall expire its validity. This clause shall not affect the surveillance requirement of the TNV. In case transition is not completed during the validity period of the standards, the whole process of certification shall be required (Stage-1 & Stage-2 Audit to be made necessary for certification to be reinstated).
