How to check validity of ISO certification

Process of Verification of Certificate on https://www.iafcertsearch.org/: All the valid certificates are available for verification on the official website of the IAF which is www.iafcertsearch.org. Please note that all the certificates issued by TNV Certification Pvt. Ltd, are available for verification.

The method to verify the Certificate on https://www.iafcertsearch.org/ is as follows;

1. Visit the portal https://www.iafcertsearch.org/ 2. There is a space named Authenticate Accredited Certifications. 3. If you have the Certificate number, you may select the option Certificate number and may search for the certified client, if you don’t have the certificate number, the status of the certified client can be a search of the company name, in this situation, select the option company name and enter the name of the company. 4. You may be prompted to verify your action that you are a human being. This is done by IAF to avoid unnecessary use of the data 5. When you will start typing the name of the company or certificate number, the website shall auto-suggest the certified client by name or number, you may select the correct company name, you may select the company by name or number, and may verify the status. 6. IN case you cannot find the name of the company on iafcertsearch, check if the certificate has been one day before, as an update of the certificate may take up to one working day's time depending on the policy of the Conformity assessment body. 7. If you cannot find the name of the company, you may see the Information Request Form and may submit a request for clarification on the certified client. 8. Please note that all the valid certificates are issued by any IAF-approved Certification body that is accredited by the accreditation board which is a member of IAF and has signed MLA arrangement with the accreditation board are available on https://www.iafcertsearch.org/. 9. If you cannot find the details of a certified company, you may write your feedback or demand clarification on the website itself. 10. Certificates issued by TNV can also be verified on the official website of the TNV i.e. www.isoindia.org and all accredited certificates are available on the portal https://www.iafcertsearch.org/.

TNV encourage to adopt and implement latest available standards ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015, hence no application shall be accepted after 01st Jan. 2017 for ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001-2004 standard, earlier this date was 01st Sept. 2017. Existing client may continue using their certification status till the validity of the standards i.e. 15th Sept. 2018

TNV shall start accepting the transition request by January 2019, TNV Plan Single visit approach in normal case, but in case of special request from the Client; staged process may be adopted. Transition may be carried out either by special audit for the transition or with the surveillance audit. Man-days for the transition may be following: a. In case of Special audit, 1/3rd of the initial audit man-days subject to minimum 1 man-days. b. In case of transition audit planned with Surveillance audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. c. In case of transition audit planned with Recertification audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. ii) Certificate issued under ISO 22000:2005 shall not be affected and shall remain valid till the validity of certificate issued under old version of the standard i.e. (19th Jun. 2021). iii) TNV shall issue certificate for ISO 22000-2005 with the expiry date on or before 19th Jun. 2021 and this date can be extended to 29th June 2021. if client fails to complete the transition by three years after the publication of ISO 22000:2018, certificate shall expire its validity. This clause shall not affect the surveillance requirement of the TNV. In case transition is not completed during the validity period of the standards, the whole process of certification shall be required (Stage-1 & Stage-2 Audit to be made necessary for certification to be reinstated).
