Code of Integrity


Integrity and professional decorum are the foundation of TNV's core values. The trust we build with our customers and stakeholders is crucial to our success, both as an organization and as individuals. As leaders in the certification industry, TNV holds itself to the highest standards of professional conduct. TNV's Code of Integrity & Professional Decorum outlines the key principles of integrity that guide our organization, our businesses, and our associates. Together with our team, TNV is dedicated to fostering an ETHOS where issues of integrity and ethics are openly discussed and addressed. We provide guidance and support to help our employees and other stakeholders acting on behalf of TNV to understand these principles and make the right decisions when faced with ethical dilemmas.
TNV ensures that all employees are trained in our Code of Integrity & Professional Decorum to maintain the highest standards of integrity across all our management system certification activities worldwide, in line with international best practices. Our Annual Training Program on this Code serves as a regular refresher, conducted by supervisors and managers responsible for staff. Participation is meticulously recorded to confirm that all staff complete the training annually. TNV's Code of Integrity & Professional Decorum is accessible online in English and Hindi. Franchise offices acting as business associates must also make it available in local languages. All new employees at TNV are required to undergo this training as part of their induction process. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for implementing procedures that govern the ethical behavior of our employees and associates and for investigating any alleged misconduct. The CEO also establishes the standards of integrity expected of our business partners. Reports on suspected violations of the Code can be submitted or advice obtained by filing a written report online or by mail to the CEO at ajeet@tnvmail.com.
The Professional Conduct Committee is tasked with ensuring the implementation of the Code of Integrity within our organization and advising management on all matters related to business ethics. This committee also approves agreements related to the procurement or development of business opportunities with intermediaries. The Professional Conduct Committee consists of four members:
• One member from the Board of Directors
• Chief Executive Officer
• One member from the Impartiality Committee
• Vice President of Marketing
This structure ensures that TNV continues to operate with the highest levels of integrity and professional decorum in all its activities.

TNV encourage to adopt and implement latest available standards ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015, hence no application shall be accepted after 01st Jan. 2017 for ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001-2004 standard, earlier this date was 01st Sept. 2017. Existing client may continue using their certification status till the validity of the standards i.e. 15th Sept. 2018

It was one of the first organizations granted general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

TNV shall start accepting the transition request by January 2019, TNV Plan Single visit approach in normal case, but in case of special request from the Client; staged process may be adopted. Transition may be carried out either by special audit for the transition or with the surveillance audit. Man-days for the transition may be following: a. In case of Special audit, 1/3rd of the initial audit man-days subject to minimum 1 man-days. b. In case of transition audit planned with Surveillance audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. c. In case of transition audit planned with Recertification audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. ii) Certificate issued under ISO 22000:2005 shall not be affected and shall remain valid till the validity of certificate issued under old version of the standard i.e. (19th Jun. 2021). iii) TNV shall issue certificate for ISO 22000-2005 with the expiry date on or before 19th Jun. 2021 and this date can be extended to 29th June 2021. if client fails to complete the transition by three years after the publication of ISO 22000:2018, certificate shall expire its validity. This clause shall not affect the surveillance requirement of the TNV. In case transition is not completed during the validity period of the standards, the whole process of certification shall be required (Stage-1 & Stage-2 Audit to be made necessary for certification to be reinstated).
